  2. Cooling Phase
    Allow the wax to cool naturally after application.

  3. Testing the Surface Strength
    Once cooled, the wax is pulled from the sheet's surface.

    • The test determines if the wax pulls fibers or coating material from the surface.
  4. Determine the Pick Strength
    The highest value of wax that does not rupture or damage the surface is recorded as the pick strength of the sheet.
